London, UK: Collins, 1973. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Good/Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. First edition. 224pp. Yellow cloth-covered boards with gilt titles on spine. 8vo. Corners rubbed, spine ends heavily rubbed. Top and bottom board edges bumped. Text block edges foxing, light soiling to fore edge. Significantly cocked. Ex-lender's 'withdrawn' stamps and pen annotations on front and rear pastedown and front free endpaper, a stamp on the title page., some damp stains around the edges on some pages. Dust jacket protected with Bordart style sleeve, adhered to volume. Plastic has some loss, is yellowing and has stains. Dust jacket has minor loss at heel.
