, xi, 136 pages, [1], folding black and white illustration 18.5 x 101.5 cms, illustrated bookplate to upper pastedown 'Bryan Hall', upper free endpaper inscribed "Halliday", owner's loose insert (bookmark 'Continual Dew Other books by Sir John Betjeman�'); 5 handwritten and typed letters on various Bond papers addressed to Bryan Hall, letter 1: from 'South Raynham Grove' referring to John Betjeman, signed in blue ballpoint "Ebe le Strange"; letter 2: referring to John Betjeman's "drawing", signed in blue ballpoint "Ebe le Strange"; letter 3: written in blue ink "�1950. Dear Puffin I enclose the only signed picture I have which I drew at breakfast this morning�John B", sketch in black ink 20.5 x 12 cms with handwritten description "In My Den A Literary Study of J Betjeman" and signed "�John Betjeman�MCML" (on reverse of Literary Society notice struck though); letter 4: handwritten in blue ballpoint, signed "Henry" (including envelope); letter 5: typewritten, signed "Jan Trebetjemous Stage Cornishman" (including envelope).
