New York: George Doran, 1914. Book. Very good- condition. Hardcover. First Edition. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. viii, 152 pages of text. Original black cloth binding with minor fading and rubbing to the spine and two bumps to the edge of the front board; corresponding light scuffs to the closed page edges. A few pages have small corner creases, tiny tears and/or creases, and there is minor soiling. Measures 193mm (height). Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (1859-1930). World War I. First American edition with the Doran binding but retaining the British title page and sheets. .
