Previous owner's last name only on the half title page. All other pages are clean and unmarked. Beautifully illustrated in full color on about 30 pages. At page 39 is a painting by Slug Signorino that is reminiscent of work by Maurice Sendak in WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE. Among the other illustrators are: J. K. Lambert, Nicole Clavelous, Jean Seisser, Lorranine Fox, John Alcorn, Stanley Mack, Norman Adams, and Philippe Weisbecker. The signature of the author appears under the dedication, but it is likely a reproduction. Bound in the original black cloth, stamped in bright silver on the spine. Complete with dust jacket.
