Athens, Georgia: The University of Georgia Press, 1956. First edition, 1956. A history of the chain of barrier islands that extends along nearly 150 miles of Georgia's coastline. Illustrated with photographs and maps, and signed by the author on the front free endpaper. Teal blue cloth, 202 pages, illustrated dustjacket. The book has light edgewear, mainly rubbing to the corners and spine ends, good hinges, sound text block, pages clean and unmarked. The mylar protected dustjacket is not priceclipped and has some light overall rubbing, a bit more to the edges, no noteworthy chips or tears.. Signed by the Author. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
