A light sprinkling of foxing to the top edge of the text block. Inside pages are clean and unmarked. Dust jacket is lightly shelf rubbed. Letters written by Georges Vanier, during his time of service in World War I with the Royal 22nd Regiment, aka the "Van Doos". Vanier went on to become the Governor General of Canada from 1959 to 1967. .
