Braque's autograph postcard send from Sorgues to his friend Paul Dermée.
A cordial message from Sourges, where Braque was recuperating from the injury he suffered during the war in 1915: "Mon cher ami, je vous envoie un bien cordial bonjour. Je travaille beaucoup. J'espère que de votre côté le recueillement de votre campagne vous est favorable. Il parait que Paris reprend de l'animation. Bien amicalement à vous."
Paul Dermée was a a Belgian writer, poet and literary critic, editor of the avant-garde magazine SIC (Son Idées Couleurs) in 1916, and later the founding-director of L'Esprit Nouveau with Le Corbusier and Amédée Ozenfant.
