Offsetting and label residue to endpapers, along with one tear to front pastedown. Example of cloth spine on rear pastedown. Was sold only in sets by subscription and was intended to include Adam Bede, Romola, Daniel Deronda, Middlemarch, Mill on the Floss, Silas Marner, etc.
