He tells of efforts to protect them from 20th centuries dangers. Binding of bright green cloth gilt titled on backstrap, very clean and unmarked; bottom edges of boards rubbed with some areas along the bottom front edge rubbed through cloth. Tight and solid volume. A few pages (4-5) have small marks by text, otherwise pages are clean and unmarked. Jacket with illustration of Tasaday in a cave dwelling, is clean with light wear to spine heel, spine head and upper edge chipped, an inch tear down rear edge of spine head. Now with archival protective cover. 465 pages. 6.5 x 9.5 inches. 1975, Harcourt Brace Jovanovich, New York and London
