With three illustrations by C. Allan Gilbert and Worth Brehm. Bound in rust-colored cloth with black lettering stamped on front board and spine. A bright copy in the color illustrated dust jacket, spine a bit darkened and with shallow chips at head of spine, but with $1.75 price intact on the front flap. First edition of Tarkington's Julia, whose gentleness belies the wreckage wrought among the men in her life. Dust jacket now enclosed in a removable, clear archival sleeve.
