London: Privately Printed, 1877. Book. Good. Hardcover. 1st Edition. ORIGINAL hardcover 1st edition - limited edition, this being copy 99 out of 100. Signed by the author under the copy number and also contains another signature and inscription by the author. It is addressed to a John Shaw Kimball/Kendall(?). Also contains the signature of a former owner of the book - Miss A.L. (?) Shaw of Ottawa Ontario Canada. Also contains the original bill of sale from the Library of Congress in Washington DC and a handwritten letter (still in original envelope from G. Bernard Shaw. The letter is dated 24th June 1931 and was sent from 4 Whitehall Court London. The text of the letter (2 pages) contains primarily genealogical information on the Shaw family, along with some of his personal observances on the subject. The book itself is a little scuffed and has a library tape repair of the front spine. The documentation included is in fine condition..
