Aufl. Mit Orig.-Lithographien. Die Geschichte von Katzen, Hunden u. anderem Getier, die einen Geburtstag feiern. - «Hans Fischer, 6.1.1909 Bern - 19.4.1958 Interlaken, von Guttannen. [...] 1927 Literaturgymnasium in Bern, Kunstgewerbeschulen in Genf und 1928-30 in Zürich. 1931-32 Reklamezeichner in Paris, Besuch der Académie Fernand Léger. 1932-36 in Bern als Trickfilmzeichner, Schaufensterdekorateur und Grafiker tätig, bis 1936 Beiträge für den "Nebelspalter", 1936-45 für die Reisezeitschrift "Die Schweiz", 1940-42 für die "Weltwoche". Aufenthalte in Italien, Reise nach Holland. 1937 erstes Wandbild im Tierpark Dählhölzli in Bern (zahlreiche in den folgenden Jahren). Nach der Übersiedlung nach Zürich bis 1941 Bühnenbildner für das Cabaret Cornichon. Ab 1944 v.a. Buchillustrationen. 1948 Publikation der von ihm verfassten und illustrierten Fabel "Pitschi" (in zahlreiche Sprachen übersetzt). F.s humorvolle Zeichnungen mit quirliger Linienführung entstammen einer skurril-grotesken, surrealistisch anmutenden Märchenwelt; zunehmend Neigung zur Abstraktion. 1955 Grafikpreis an der Biennale von São Paulo» (HLS). 010

Terms of payment
Invoices are to be paid within 15 days. For first orders we reserve delivery after payment in advance. In case of delay of payment, the second reminder is charged at an extra cost of CHF 10.00. Also, other additional costs are charged to the customer.
Sales return
In the event of a well-founded claim, the merchandise can be returned upon consultation within 14 days. If the claim turns out to be unsubstantiated, or the damage is the result from improper handling by the customer etc., all the costs are charged to the customer. Returns are only accepted with the invoice enclosed. Damages during shipment have to be notified within 48 hours. Otherwise the refund expires. Return upon dissatisfaction is excluded.
Place of venue
We are subject only to Swiss law. Place of venue is Zurich.
