Published by B. D. Packard and the author, Albany, 1824. Measure 5.25" x 8.75", 620 pages. With an illustrated pull-out map of the state of New York. Bound in its original calf with gilt decoration and lettering at the spine. The book is in good condition. The joints are starting with worn edges and corners. Cracking and some loss at the spine. Previous owner's signature in ink on the front endpaper. Front board is cracked at the hinge. Moisture stain to the boards, preliminary and terminal pages. The pull out map is delicate and has been tabbed in at the front of the book. Toning to the textblock with scattered foxing. Two embossed seals on the rear endpaper.
