The dust wrapper is bright and mostly clean, with some small tears at the bottom edges and wear at the corners. The boards are free from notable chips and marks and the text blocks are bright and white throughout. This copy is free from previous owners ink and is a near fine copy overall. The tragic story of Garracha, whom is widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all time, and by some, one of the greatest dribblers ever. Garrincha played a vital role in Brazil's 1958 and 1962 World Cup victories. In 1962, when Pelé got injured, Garrincha led Brazil to a World Cup victory with a dominating performance throughout the tournament. He also became the first player to win the Golden Ball (Player of the tournament), Golden Boot (Leading Goalscorer) and the World Cup in the same tournament.
Synopsis

His most recent works include Bossa Nova: The Story of the Brazilian Music that Seduced the World and Rio de Janeiro: Carnival under Fire . He is currently working on a biography of Carmen Miranda. He lives in Rio de Janeiro.
