About This Item
A lovely first printing of the first English edition of Margaret Drabble's second novel [Weidenfeld & Nicolson (1964)], signed by the author on a laid in bookplate. The book is in near fine condition with a brown spot on the bottom page edges but a tight and square binding, with no owner inscriptions or highlighting or marking. The dust jacket is in near fine condition, not price-clipped (18s), with some rubbing and toning but very few creases, chips or tears and minimal shelf wear. It is now protected by an archival cover which is easily removable, with no tape or adhesive used. Please do not hesitate to contact us for further information.
