About This Item
New York: Marlowe & Co, 1996. First Edition. Signed presentation copy from Anthony Weller to his literary agent Dorothy Olding of Harold Ober Associates, inscribed by the author on the half-title: “To Dorothy, Whose love and faith kept me writing and who saw the first version of this book so many years ago. With all my love, Anthony. 11 September 1996.” Additionally signed “Anthony Weller” on the title page below his printed name which he has crossed out. Fine fresh copy in a fine bright dust jacket. A complex novel spanning five decades and two continents, revolving around a father and daughter linked by artistic genius and great emotional strife, reminiscent of Somerset Maugham’s The Moon and Sixpence.
