Toronto: Viking, 1987. First Canadian Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. This is the first Canadian edition, with the price in British pounds on the bottom right corner of the dust jacket, and Canadian Cataloguing in Publication data on the verso of the title page. The interior of the book is crisp and clean. There is a distributor's stamp (Penguin, Markham, Ont.) on the front fixed end paper, but no other marks or signs of previous use. The green and cream covers are fresh, with just a touch of wear at the bottom of the spine. The dust jacket is not price-clipped and is also in very good condition, but with little wear, but folds showing on both the front and rear flaps. The jacket is now in a protective mylar cover.
