Edited for the Use of Schools with Notes and Vocabulary. xxxix, 141 pages : illustrations, maps. Includes fold-out map of Gaul in the time of Caesar. Contents include: Introduction, Text (in Latin); Notes; Vocabulary; Geographical Index. In good condition. Small (4 x 6.35") blue illustrated cloth covered boards have some nicking to the cloth at corner tips and top and bottom of spine and light to moderate overall scuffing and soiling. Binding tight. Previous owner's name in ink on front free end paper. Otherwise pages are lightly aged but unmarked. This is book VII of MacMillan's adaptation, with many alterations of part of its large edition of Caesar's Commentaries. This book begins with the events starting in year 52 BC.
