Black cloth with gilt (roughly) 8 1/2" by 6" (inches) 532 pages, Book Club gutter code J-14, which indicates the 2nd week of April & since the 2nd book "The Haunting of Gad's Hall" was published by Doubleday in 1979 in all likely hood this is a Thus 1st Book Club edition (maybe the only edition, though Unstated). Very Good Plus condition with faint to minor edge wear, dust jacket is in Very Good Plus condition again with only minor edge wear, jacket is now in Mylar. "For Jill & Bob Spender and their three children, the charming Tudor farmhouse had seemed a godsend, an incredible bargain, almost a gift from its owner - a kindly man who merely wanted someone to protect the family homestead, to make Gad's Hall come alive again."
