About This Item

London, UK Fontana Books, 1969. Paperback First Edition Thus (1969), so stated. First published in English in 1964. The original French edition appeared in 1959. Scattered UNDERLINING IN INK to page 57. Else, Very Good in Wraps: shows indications of careful use: the pages have tanned somewhat, due to aging; light wear to the extremities; mild rubbing and numerous faint stress creases to the wrapper covers; the backstrip has been reinforced with clear cellophane tape; the binding is square and secure. Free of creased or dog-eared pages in the text. Free of any ownership names, dates, addresses, notations, inscriptions, stamps, plates, or labels. A moderately used copy, structurally sound and tightly bound, showing light wear and minor, unobtrusive flaws. Clearly a flawed copy, but would make a very good reading copy. NOT a Remainder, Book-Club, or Ex-Library. 12mo.(7.05 x 4.3 x 0.65 inches). 332 pages. Translated from the French by Norman Denny. Language: English. Weight: 6.5 inches. First Edition Thus (1969), so stated. First published in English in 1964. The original French edition appeared in 1959. Mass Market Paperback.
