McGill-Queens University Press, 1991-11-11. Hardcover. Very Good. 169pp. (green spine) large 8vo. 1991. First edition. A signed presentation copy from the author. Flat signed in blue biro by the author to the title page with the inscription, 'For my friend David Smith best wishes'. The copy also includes a typed letter signed in blue biro to David Smith. David Smith was the former sheriff of Kilmarnock, Scotland and a world leading authority on curling. A very good, clean, tight copy in like jacket. No other inscriptions but David Smith's neat printed bookplate is pasted to the front paste-down. Light bumps to the head and tail of the spine. The jacket has not been price-clipped and has some light shelf wear. A very good, signed presentation copy.
