London: Chapman & Hall, 1948. First Edition. Cloth. Very Good +/Very Good. 12mo. Bound in blue cloth with blue stain to top. Boards with a slight warp and spine very slightly cocked; some light wear to corners and rubbing at head and heel; blue cloth fading very slightly along edges, but with strip definite fading at head and heel of spine; blue top stain a little faded. Dust-jacket with wear to top corners causing minor paper loss, chip to head of spine onto front and rear, two tiny chips to bottom edge front panel and a tiny chip to top edge front; some light foxing and dust soil to rear panel, flaps browning at top edge. The author's 1st book.
