Houghton Mifflin Company, 1944. First Edition . Hardcover. Near Fine. First Edition. Hardcover, no dust jacket. Light red cloth cover with black stamp on front cover and spine for verbiage. Spine shows signs of wear with a little of crushing on the top and bottom. The cover is slightly soiled, and the tips of the boards are slightly bumped. The front cover is pulling away from the body right after the title page, but the rest of the body is still firmly attached. The pages show a slight amount of discoloration due to age, but are clean, unmarked, and in wonderful condition. This book is in near fine otherwise condition.
