NY: Pantheon, 1980. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Fine/Very Good. 8vo. 208pp. First edition, first printing. Signed and affectionately inscribed to former owners on the front free end paper. Tan/purple boards with light blue cloth backing and silver spine titles. F/VG+. Light toning to edges of textblock, light off-setting to pastedowns, else fine. Unclipped "$8.95" jacket has four <1/4" closed tears and light wear at head of spine, with light toning to flaps. A young adult novel, subtitled "A Girlhood on the Eve of the Third Reich," praised as a patient and detailed evocation of a Jewish family's experiences in the waning moments of the Weimar Republic.

All books ship free with tracking to domestic addresses via USPS Media Mail. In most cases, delivery takes place within a three to ten day window, although the vicissitudes of USPS may apply. Unless otherwise requested, expedited domestic purchases ship via USPS Priority Mail; overseas orders via USPS First Class International. Heavy or oversized books may incur additional shipping charges, as may books shipped to overseas destinations. Any additional charges required will be communicated promptly.
We take safe shipping very seriously; all of our books are packaged in new cardboard boxes amply cushioned with biodegradable packing peanuts. Pamphlets and other flat materials items are ocassionally shipped in bubble-mailers with internal cardboard supports. All books with dust jackets are fitted with brand new archival protectors prior to shipping.
