Small transverse strip at top of spine missing and spine rubbed at base. Plain endpapers. Frontis. Prev owner's signature to half-title. 296pp unmarked and undiscoloured. Leaves at pp. 30/31 poorly cut with very small piece of p. 30 protruding from outer margin of p. 31. Up to p. 60 there is a slight nick to the top edge of the pages consonant with a severe bump. Very scarce in 1st ed.
