First American edition, near fine oversized blue cloth hardcover (10 by 10 1/2 aprrox) shows some mild shelf wear, touch of soil at page edges and some other very minor trace wear, in very good + dust jacket (price at flap) that shows touch of soil and edge wear that includes some wrinkling and couple of small closed tears at spine head. 240 pages beautifully illustrated in color. Still an attractive copy of this work that "..stresses the importance of local traditions in the fashioning of the French homeplace.
