About This Item
Franklin Square: Harper & Brothers, Publishers, 1887. Both volumes nearly look like they were printed yesterday - extremely well cared for. Volume I (285 pages) is inscribed with "Clarence Rosser May 15, 1919" in ink on fep, else no other internal marlkings. There are 3 very faint scratchs (so faint thatI doubt I could capture them on camera) on front board. The rear paste down end paper is missing the top corner end (approximately (1/4") - otherwise a very lovely edition. Dark green, very clean boards with bright gilt print on spine; very solid binding; bright text; corners are square. Volume II (587 pages), is also inscribed: "Clarence Rosser" on fep, else no other internal markings. The front board shows faint sunning, else fine. Volume II shares the same fine attributes as Volume I: Dark green, very clean boards with bright gilt print on spine; very solid binding; bright text; corners are square. A beautiful set. Happy to provide photos.. Hardcover. Near Fine/No Jacket. Large 8vo. Book.
