San Francisco, Ca: Free Space, 1977. First Edition. Original wraps. Fine. 62p quarto, illus. A fine copy in pink printed wraps. Complete in one issue, this short lived bulletin brought together themes of surrealism and liberation. Articles of note include : The Breytenbach Case (B. Breytenbach was an imprisoned South African poet and member of the anti apartheid underground), Surrealism and the Quebecois Revolution, Human Rights in South Africa Emergency Bulletin, and In Defense of Gay Rights. Artistic contributions by Lynn Hershman and Mimi Parent among others. This copy is inscribed by Stephen Schwartz to Davidson, Schwartz has written two articles in the issue. Additionally laid in is a paper slip requesting all friends of the Breytenbach case to assemble at the South African consulate.
