New York: Duell, Sloan and Pearce, 1943. Stated first ediiton, but an earlier and less comprehensive edition was published in 1932, so technically a second edition. Thick and square volume in maroon cloth printed in silver gilt and red, with dustjacket. Well kept, with light rubbing to corners and spine ends, good hinges, sound text block, clean pages, no name or other markings. The mylar protected dustjacket is not priceclipped [4.50] and has some shelf soil to the light gray background, spine slightly darkened and with a veritcal crease down the middle (the dustjacket was folded there and tucked into the book), a few minor chips to the edges with very little paper loss.. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good. Squared 8vo.
