Bookplate SIGNED by Frank Gannett, printed with inscription "TO Janet C. Fales with appreciation and best wishes to my fellow worker-- April 30, 1940." Previous owner name written at top edge of front free endpaper. 250 pgs. with index. Clean bright dustjacket is not price clipped, has tiny match-head size chip at top of back panel, small closed edge tear at base of spine fold, wear at top and bottom of spine edges.
