Bookplate SIGNED by Frank Gannett, printed with inscription "TO Janet C. Fales with appreciation and best wishes to my fellow worker-- April 30, 1940." Previous owner name written at top edge of front free endpaper. 250 pgs. with index. Clean bright dustjacket is not price clipped, has tiny match-head size chip at top of back panel, small closed edge tear at base of spine fold, wear at top and bottom of spine edges. Enclosed in new archival quality mylar cover..
