1. Francois the Waif by George Sand. Published by H. M. Caldwell Co, New York. Copyright 1894, by George H. Richmond & Company. Good or better condition. No date on title page but likely pre 1897 as I believe Caldwell added a Boston address in 1897. 243 pages. 6.25 x 4.25 inches. Spine and front cover fully decorated with floral and design decorations in gold, green and red. Moderate soil, fade and rub to blue cloth. Spine tips starting to fray. Previous owner name and 1910 date on front blank endpaper. Small text illustrations at chapter headings.
