London, Edward Moxon, 1840. Hardback, approx 9 x 6 inches. In full black morocco leather binding, blind embossed and gilt decorations to boards. Decorative raised banding to spine. All page edges gilt. Pale yellow endpapers. In very good condition. Some minor rubbing to edges and corners. Small nick to leather on top front corner of spine. Neat inscription to front endpaper. Gum strip reinforcement/repairs between endpapers. Some mild foxing to front prelim and halfltitle page, inside pages all very clean and tight. Else a very good clean and tight copy. 165, 160 & 169pp. With a folding table in 2nd series. A couple of small B&W illustrations in text.
