About This Item

London, Harper Collins, 1996. . First edition, first impression, inscribed by the author; 8vo; pages a little toned as usual; publisher's black boards, titles to spine in silver, pictorial endpapers, with the dust jacket. A very good copy in the dust jacket with a short snag at the top of the spine panel.
With the author's signed presentation inscription to the title page, 'To Harold Jeffrey Archer'. The recipient was Harold Henry Sebag-Montefiore, lawyer, politician and friend of Archer's. One might imagine genuine presentation copies of Archer's work to be common on the market, but in our experience copies with proper associations are scarce.
