US: Arkham House, 1948. First Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Near Fine. First Edition, limited to three thousand copies. Black cloth over boards with gilt-stamped particulars to spine. Pages are clean and unmarked. Light shelfwear to head and tail of spine; otherwise, boards are clean and bright. Text block is clean. Binding is tight and square. Dust jacket, illustrated by Ronald Clyne, is clean, bright and unmarked. Very light shelfwear. Dust jacket is covered in a protective mylar jacket.
