About This Item
Hodder & Stoughton, 1933. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1204p. Does not have its original dj, instead is inside a homemade jacket of gray paper. Buckram-covered boards discolored and dusty. A few small holes or frayed spots in cloth, along edges. Bumped corners. Cloth at foot of spine is frayed and a small strip has been torn off. Glue stain on front pastedown endpaper where a bookplate was attached. The old bookplate is now laid-in, as the glue has given up. Gift note on ffep. Clear tape in the gutter between pages 1202 and 1203, presumably to repair a spine break. Pages look clean and bright, with some small nicks in edges. The binding is loose and feels very weak, but it is all in one piece. Fourth Printing. Size: 12mo - over 6 3/4 in - 7 3/4 in Tall. Year: 1933.
