About This Item
Halsgrove, Tiverton, 2006. 1st edition. Hard covers, dust jacket. Fine/Fine. The forest in question is on the opposite side of Southampton from the New Forest, and as well as being smaller it is much less heathy and (at least originally) more wooded. An exceptionally well informed book, illustrated with handsome colour photographs. The first author comes from a long established local farming family.
