About This Item

N.p.: N.p., 1980. Draft script for an unproduced film.

The true story of Moe Berg, a baseball player who was commonly known as the smartest man in the game, having graduated from Princeton and Columbia. Berg, who spoke several languages and read ten newspapers a day, was contracted by the United States government to use his fame to travel to Italy during World War II and work as a spy. A weird convergence of two later films, "Confessions of a Dangerous Mind" (2002) and "Flags of Our Fathers" (2006), both also based on true stories.

Black titled wrappers. Title page present, with credit for screenwriter Murray Sinclair. 120 leaves, with last page of text numbered 117. Xerographic duplication, rectos only. Pages Near Fine, wrapper Near Fine, bound internally with three gold brads.
