New York: Moffat, Yard and Company, 1916. With Introduction by Walter Camp (Yale 1880). Author is from Princeton University Class of 1900. "There is no sport in the world that brings out unselfishness as does this great gridiron game of ours." Over 50 illustrations and photographs throughout book. 463 pp. Blue cloth covers with gilt title lettering and illustration of football on front cover, faded gilt lettering on spine. Cover corners and edges are bumped and rubbed, scuffing and wear to cover faces, spine is very faded from sun exposure, joints are thin, spine ends are bent and fraying. Side and bottom page edges are uncut with tears from pages being printed together. Endpapers are foxed, interior pages are tanned with some foxing. Many interior pages were uncut and improperly opened, causing chipping and some small tears to edges, other pages remain uncut. Book in Good+ to VG- condition.. Hard Cover. Good+/No Jacket. Illus. by Photographs. Size: Approx. 5 1/2" x 8 1/2". Football.
