Interior is unmarked and generally clean. Lacks seven of the illustrated plates, else in very good condition. Includes fifteen pages showing fifty-six family portraits. 277 pages. Detailed genealogical history of the Follett family and their related families (Fassett, Dewey, Safford, Hopkins, Robinson, and Fay). The locations are largely in Vermont (including Enosburgh, Bennington, and Cambridge), New York state and Ohio. Presented as the ancestry of Captain Martin Dewey Follett (1765-1831) and his wife Persis Fassett (1767-1849). Includes Lieutenant John Fassett's Revolutionary War diary (Sep-Nov 1775), recording his experiences in the Continental Army under Gen. Richard Montgomery, as well as other material relevant to the American Revolution (including the 1778 Battle of Wyoming Valley) and the War of 1812.
