New York: Pageant Press, 1967. First Edition, First Printing. Hardcover. Good/Good. Ocatvo. 5.5 x 8.25 in. 282 pp. Good in original tan boards and a good illustrated dust jacket that has minor rubbing and wear. The pages have minor foxing on the outside edges. Inscribed on the title page in blue ink, "To Nancy, with warmest personal wishes...Mardo." This copy also contains a short note by the author, typed on their own letterhead and then signed "Mardo" in blue ink. "Nancy" is Nancy Wrenn, a veteran of World War II who served with The Red Cross in the Pacific Theater and who later co-founded Camp Awa-Niko outside of Asheville, NC.

Inscribed by author on main title, signed as "Mardo," personalized "To Carolyn / with a wish for Happy / Landings always," dated June 1969, with a separate gift inscription inked on front flyleaf, also to Carolyn, from her mother, with a note that this copy was purchased directly from the author.
