Boston: Houghton Miffliln and Co, 1910. First Edition. Small Octavo. First printing. 64 pages illustrated with four color plates. A lovely fairy story that illustrates the worth and beauty of love in human experience. Flutterfly was a little princess whose cruel father punished her by removing her from her royal home and placing her in Freezeland (which was under the control of Jack Frost). A change and her return home are beautifully told in this work. A beautiful copy bound in red cloth lettered and decorated in gilt, color pictorial pastedown, spine gilt, in a very good pictorial dust jacket with a few small tears and chips to edges. Previous owner's gift inscription "Marion E. Randall/from mother's/Denver friend/May 5, 1910/Many happy returns.
