Boards bright and clean spine lettering bright. A VG++ copy (gentle pushing to the spine tips). No inscriptions. The VG++ dustwrapper is priced 16s net to the inside flap and has been inexplicably laminated. It has no loss or wear and shows well. "An attractive pair of Oxford undergraduates involved with a disappearing corpse, a television personality, and some very unpleasant folkways of ancient Britons combine in a tale of almost intolerable Horror. Convincing anthropological details plus a talent for ominous atmosphere.... (St. Louis Post Dispatch)". Superb cover artwork by Kenneth Farnhill. Uncommon.
