Kennedy Space Center, Florida: National Aeronautics and Space Administration, 1975. Apollo-Soyuz commemorative FDC signed, without inscriptions, by astronauts Tom Stafford, Vance Brand & Deke Slayton, as well as cosmonauts Alexei Leonov & Valeri Kubasov. Postmark is "Kennedy Space Center, July 15, 1975. PROVENANCE: from the collection of Lee Saegesser, Chief Archivist from 1967 until 1997 in the Washington, DC NASA Headquarters History Office. Accompanying the signed FDC is a letter from Saegesser detailing the progress of the FDC, which was flown on the NASA aircraft that took the crew members on a tour of the United States October 12-25, 1975. [Note: this does not mean that the cover flew into space!] Also included is a black and white photograph of the astronauts and cosmonauts on the tarmac during one of their stops in the U.S. Certificate of Authenticity available if desired. The signatures are bold and bright.. SIGNED. First Edition. Paper. Collectible-Fine. 2 5/8" X 6 1/2". Manuscript.
