About This Item
London: Cassell Ltd, 1980. Hardback small quarto, dustjacket, very good condition, silver drawing front board, colour drawings, bottom edge & spine ends rubbed, minor edgewear jacket (lightly faded). 40 pp. This book was first published in 1906, and this classic reissue is as charming as it was then. One of a series of 'flower fantasies' produced by Crane towards the end of his life, it combines the originality of his earlier illustrative work with haunting fragments of quotations from Shakespeare.
