A Near Fine book in a Very Good dust jacket. 4to., 60 pp., with 15 woodblocks. Bound in publishers green cloth and linen with titles in gilt on spine. White dust jacket has green woodblock illustration of iris with titles in red. Jacket has some rubbing along edges and tips; a small scuff/abrasion on upper corner of rear cover; spine is very lightly darkened; price on flap $15.00. Text is clean and unmarked; wood cuts are crisp and bright. Dust jacket now protected in mylar sleeve. Jacques Hnizdovsky, (1915-1985) was a Ukrainian-American painter, printmaker, graphic designer, illustrator and sculptor.
