INSCRIBED AND DATED BY THE AUTHOR ON THE FRONT FLY USING HIS NICKNAME "TUBBY", WITH A NOTATATION THAT "WILLIAM MORROW ARE PUBLISHING IT IN N.YORK NEXT JANUARY". England must respond in kind to a Russian rocket which lands in Hyde Park but it takes a young woman from Aircraft Instrument Section at Farnborough to come up with an ingenious, unconventional way to get a plane through to the target--amd get the crew home safely. Fine in dust jacket with light wear at the tips.
