New York: Holt, Rinehart and Winston, 1962 Light green cloth with tiny gilt cover and spine decoration. "The joys and contentment of newly wedded life, set against the tranquil beauty of the English countryside, are the subject of this new volume by the beloved novelist. . ." Moderate rubbing to cover extremities except lower front cover corner, which is worn through to board. Upper and lower margins of cover cloth somewhat sun-browned. Small moderate tape stains to upper and lower boards where jacket was previously attached; faint shadows of same at upper edge of endpapers. Library marks limited to "discarded" inkstamp and small embossed library stamp to lower title page. Otherwise clean and intact in a bright dust jacket with light soil to rear (white) panel. Very light rubbing to jacket extremities. Now protected in mylar.
