London: Hodder and Stoughton, 1974. First edition. 8vo, 192pp. Green cloth boards, gilt lettering on spine. Bumping to spine ends and light soiling to rear panel, else nearly fine. Jacket shows a few smudges to rear panel else nicely preserved. The seventeenth novel from British crime writer, Michael Gilbert. The book was somewhat influenced by the Watergate Scandal which was happening concurrently in America at the time of this its writing.
