Octavo (19.5cm); full hunter green cloth, with titles stamped in gilt on spine and in blind to front cover; [viii],269,[3]pp. Slight forward lean, corners bumped (though still sharp), spine ends gently nudged, with light dustiness to cloth; front endpaper shows a small patch of sticker removal and a tiny embossed vintage bookseller's stamped to front endpaper; Very Good, with the spine gilt slightly dulled, but still quite legible.
Synopsis
Flappers and Philosophers was published in 1920 on the heels of Fitzgerald’s sensational debut, This Side of Paradise, and anticipated themes in The Great Gatsby.
