About This Item
New York: Harper & Brothers, 1923. First Edition. First printing Very good+ in dark blue cloth covered boards with gilt text stamping on the spine and with an illustrated paper plate affixed to the front board. There is a small narrow stain at the lower edge of the front board and minor small ink stains on the text block edges. A gift inscription has been written on the front free end paper and there is a prior owner's book plate on the verso of the fly title page. There are no marks or notations in the book and the paste-on label has no wear, loss or rubbing. With illustrations by Frank E. Schoonover. 222 pages with all 10 color plates present.
